FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral?
No, you do not need a referral to book an appointment with our physiotherapists or sports therapists. We accept self-referrals and welcome new clients directly.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online via our website using our Book Online system. Alternatively you can call us directly, where our virtual assistant, Vivienne, can book you in. She is available 24/7 for bookings, rescheduling, cancellations, or general enquiries.
Do you offer same-day or urgent appointments?
We try to accommodate urgent cases where possible. Please call us and request to speak to a team member, so we can advise on available slots.
What should I expect from my first appointment?
Your first session will include a thorough assessment of your condition, discussion of your goals, and a personalised treatment plan. Treatment will be given during your first appointment, so it is not just assessment or form-filling.
You’ll receive hands-on therapy, guidance on exercises, posture, or lifestyle adjustments to begin improving your condition immediately.
Do you accept insurance?
Only our mobile physiotherapy service accepts insurance directly (please request to check first, before booking, to ensure the company is listed).
For other treatments, patients who wish to claim via their insurance are more than welcome, and we can provide a full invoice detailing the services undertaken, which can be submitted to your insurer for reimbursement. Our physiotherapists are HCPC registered, which may be a requirement for some insurers.
Can I combine therapies in one visit?
Absolutely. Many clients benefit from a combination of sports massage, physiotherapy, dry needling, or shockwave therapy in one appointment, tailored to your needs.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Access to the area with your problem is generally required, so vest top or shorts.
For sports massage, direct contact with the skin is needed, so shorts are ideal. Underwear is fine, but we cannot provide treatment if you are not wearing at least underwear.
All patients are fully covered during treatment to ensure their dignity is respected.
Comfortable clothing is recommended for other therapies or assessments.
Do you offer home visits?
Yes, our mobile physiotherapy service allows treatment in the comfort of your own home for clients who are less mobile or prefer at-home care.
How do I know which therapy is right for me?
If you are unsure of what you need, please contact us so we can advise on the best course of relevant treatment. Our team will guide you based on your assessment and goals. We focus on treating the cause, not just the symptoms, and can combine therapies as needed for the best outcome.
