Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic drainage is a way of reducing swelling (lymphoedema) caused by fluid build up.
​
The aim of lymphatic drainage is to move fluid from the swollen area, into a place where the lymphatic system is working normally.
​
It is not advised to have lymphatic drainage if you have any of the following:

an infection or inflammation in the swollen area

a blood clot

heart problems

cancer in the area
